Interior Design Services

The Funky Debutante  specializes in both commercial and residential interiors.  

Interior Design Service Fees:

The Funky Debutante bills per hour for interior design services.  This includes  working both on site and remotely.  This traditional way of working allows us to appropriately guide every step of
your design from concept to completion.  

We charge an hourly rate of 175.00 per hour for all services (including the initial consultation, meetings, spacial planning, prepping for presentations, communicating with vendors/contractors, shopping- online and in store, researching, managing orders, correspondence with client, and project installations, etc).

Trip charges may apply for projects more than an hour (without traffic) away from the TFDs headquarters, which is located in Woodstock, GA.  TFD works with clients ahead of time to determine a fair amount,
so that there are no surprises.  
 
Travel expenses, lodging, and per diem charges apply to all out of town projects. We do require a minimum amount of 290 hours to take on most out of town projects, as well. This is to ensure that we can
carve out enough time to execute them properly.

 
Purchasing/Procurement:
 
We ask that all selections presented are purchased directly through The Funky Debutante, LLC.
 
 Below is a little information on our pricing structure for purchasing:
 
There is a referral/finder's fee for all vendor services and/or retail items presented by or purchased with the assistance of The Funky Debutante, LLC. The percentage of the fee depends on the savings received from the retailer.

For items purchased directly through direct trade sources, TFD will split the discount received off of MSRP with clients.  Clients will also be billed for freight/tax/shipping/receiving/storage (if needed)/delivery.

Written approval and 100% deposit are required before placing all orders on behalf of clients.
 
 All custom and direct trade orders are final sale.
 
TFD will return returnable retail items, when vendors allow, but customer will be responsible for restocking fees, shipping charges,  and/or billable time to handle return.  
 
TFD will stay on top of manufacturers/vendors (on behalf of our clients) to correct mistakes, make repairs,
or replace new items that arrive damaged/defective. However, manufacturers/vendors are ultimately responsible for their products and/or services.  Please make us aware of any issues as soon as you receive your items.
 
The above billing structure is common among designers.  TFD chooses to be transparent in order to set realistic expectations and to build trust with clients.
